- Coronary Thrombosis (Heart Attack)
- SYMPTOMS. The signs may include pains in the chest with a feeling of
- pressure or crushing, cold sweats, vomiting, great anxiety, shortness of
- breath, ashen face, belching and retching. The pains do not stop with rest
- or the use of nitroglycerin.
- CAUSES. The heart attack is a result of a clot (thrombus) that has formed in
- a heart-feeding coronary artery that is already diseased. It may suddenly
- appear or be preceded by a history of angina pectoris. See ANGINA PECTORIS.
- TREATMENT. Consult your doctor immediately.
- .Seek medical attention immediately. (Better safe than dead)
- .Medication, oxygen and other measures may be required.
